Charming stay near Bastille

Our stay was truly enjoyable. The hotel’s location is prime. just a half block from La Bastille. The charming staff were always ready to assist, and the cleanliness was impeccable—our room was fresh each day. Being able to explore Paris on foot was a delight, as we found plenty of local shops and cafés nearby to indulge in.

Our room felt a bit cramped at times, and the bathroom was on the smaller side. Plus, noise levels from the adjacent rooms occasionally disrupted our peace, making it hard to fully relax at night. Ensure you have earplugs if you're sensitive to sound.

Free early check-in made our day much easier.

The hotel's prime location is a dream for food lovers! Just around the corner, Mamy Therese serves delightful French dishes, and the charming Gaspard de la Nuit is perfect for a cozy dinner. Plus, the room was decently sized and clean, making for a comfy hideaway after a long day of food exploring.

The only downside? That coffee machine in the breakfast room could use a makeover! A classic filter coffee maker would’ve hit just right.

The location is excellent, only a minute's walk from Place de la Bastille.

My experience at Hotel De La Herse D'Or was quite frustrating. The room, while clean and comfortable, was dreadfully small, and I felt cramped throughout my stay. the bathroom situation was absurd. there was no separation between the shower and the rest of the room, which made it very uncomfortable to use.

the hotel is nestled perfectly, but oh dear, waking up to elevator noise was such a delight, right? plus, that tablet’s random jingles really added to the ambiance. would have loved an upgrade after that delightful chaos. whatever that was? almost gave it a good review, but just couldn’t.

The location is top-notch, right in the Marais with lekker cafés and shops around. Staff were super helpful. got free coffee at reception every morningto fuel up for exploring. Room had a stunning view over the street—waking up to that was such a joy!

But man, that bathroom was tight, felt like a bit of a squeeze at times!
